Water Barrel Instructions

To fill:
1. Open either cap with a bung wrench. You may purchase a bung wrench at iPrepare.com, or, if you purchased a water-barrel package, one will be included.
2. Fill barrel halfway up with a garden hose, then add the complete bottle of water preserver (included with water-barrel package). Continue to fill barrel to 2 inches from the top.
3. Reseal the cap with the bung wrench.
Additional Information
1. Do not store the water barrel directly on concrete. If necessary, set barrel on slats of wood so it does not come in direct contact with the concrete.
2. Avoid storing barrel in direct sunlight.
3. Never store your water barrel package with the pump in it (pump included in package).
4. You will notice that the water preserver has an expiration date on the bottom of the bottle. You must use this preserver before the expiration date. Once used, it will extend the shelf life of the water to 5 years.
5. Water barrel weight when full is approx. 450 lbs.
